Our Prices:
Bloodstock Purchases: 5% up to €50,000 (Euros), negotiable thereafter, or for multiple purchases.
Management: 15% of all bills raised. This includes recommending and liaising with a stud farm/trainer, keeping a regular check on the horse's well-being, payment of bills and arranging the FX (normally Sterling to €uros), arranging insurance and transport etc.
Syndication: normally as a one-off price to include all costs (training, purchase, vet., etc.) until the horse is sold again. Typically the price works out at cost +15% (ie. as per management).
Stallion advice and nomination booking: free if a commission is paid by the stallion farm, otherwise 5% of covering price.
Other Services: cost +15%
Any other service: charged by the hour (current rate = €45) + costs incurred.
NOTE: TVA (VAT) is levied in France at 5.5% on boarding costs and bloodstock purchases, and 19.6% on nearly everything else. Our charges are calculated on the net price (ie. exclusive of TVA). We do not charge TVA or VAT on top of OUR charges.
